This Anti-Spam Policy outlines how Acute Rescue and Transport, Inc. (“Acute Rescue,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) manages communications through www.acuterescue.com (the “Site”) and affiliated messaging systems, including email and SMS. We are committed to protecting your privacy and complying with the Controlling the Assault of Non-Solicited Pornography And Marketing (CAN-SPAM) Act, Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), Federal Communications Commission (FCC) regulations, California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), and other applicable laws.

1. Prohibited Activities

We do not tolerate spam. Spam is defined as the sending of unsolicited, bulk, or indiscriminate messages, including commercial advertising, promotional material, or repeated outreach without prior consent.

You may not use our Site or services to:

  • Send unsolicited commercial email or SMS messages
  • Harvest, collect, or compile personal information for unsolicited communications
  • Promote services, products, or resources unrelated to Acute Rescue without written permission
  • Distribute messages containing PHI (Protected Health Information) via email or SMS

2. Consent and Opt-In Requirements

Email and SMS communications from Acute Rescue are sent only to individuals who have expressly opted in, requested information, or initiated service-related contact.

As described in our SMS Terms and Conditions, Safety and Security Policy, and Privacy Policy:

  • Email consent is collected through service requests, form submissions, or direct inquiries.
  • SMS consent requires clear, one-to-one authorization. Consent to receive text messages is never bundled or shared with other companies and is not a condition of any purchase.
  • No PHI is ever transmitted via SMS or email for clinical or billing purposes, in compliance with HIPAA.

3. Opt-Out and Do Not Contact Requests

Every authorized email and SMS message from Acute Rescue includes clear instructions for opting out:

  • Email communications contain an unsubscribe link or reply option for removal.
  • SMS messages include opt-out instructions by replying “STOP” to cease further messages and “HELP” for assistance.
  • You may also submit an opt-out request by sending an email to info@acuterescue.com or calling us at 208.965.8072.

Opt-out requests are honored promptly in accordance with applicable laws.

4. Message Content and Frequency

Acute Rescue limits its outbound messaging to:

  • Service-related updates and operational notices
  • Event medical coverage confirmations
  • Inquiries requested by the recipient
  • Public safety announcements or regulatory communications

We do not engage in unsolicited marketing via email or SMS. Message frequency is limited and fully disclosed at the time of opt-in.

5. Information Security and Privacy

We safeguard all personal data and contact information provided by users, as detailed in our Privacy Policy and Safety and Security Policy. No personal data, including contact details, is sold, rented, or shared with third parties for marketing purposes.

PHI is never transmitted through SMS or unsecured electronic communication channels, as detailed in our SMS Terms and Conditions.
