Staff Education and Growth
At Acute Rescue and Transport, we emphasize in-house education to uphold the highest standards of emergency medical care. Our extensive training programs keep our Paramedics and EMTs current with the latest techniques and medical care advancements in emergency medical services. Through regular workshops, simulations, and ongoing education, our team acquires hands-on experience and advanced knowledge to handle complex medical situations effectively. This dedication to continuous learning enhances our team’s skills and ensures we deliver exceptional care with the utmost professionalism in every emergency response.
ART in the Community
Acute Rescue and Transport is a trusted EMS partner throughout the areas we serve, providing critical support to 911 emergency services across Idaho in or around our service areas. As a reliable mutual aid EMS responder, we are sometimes dispatched by either County Authorities or the Idaho State EMS Communications Center to assist other agencies with emergency medical calls. Our mission is to ensure that every emergency in our community is met with prompt, professional care, especially in in cases when local EMS resources or volunteer EMS agencies are engaged in activities where they require additional resources or personnel.
We specialize in Critical Care ambulance services, staffing our ambulances with highly trained Critical Care Paramedics. This allows us to deliver advanced medical care for severe emergencies, allowing us to provide a higher level of care than many rural EMS agencies are licensed to provide. When Acute Rescue transports a patient, we follow Medicare guidelines to bill the patient’s insurance for our services.
The Idaho Time Sensitive Emergency (TSE) System was created to address the top three preventable causes of death: trauma, stroke, and heart attack (a.k.a. STEMI). This is a collaborative approach from all stakeholders throughout the state including hospitals, EMS agencies, public health districts, and the Idaho Department of Health & Welfare.
The Idaho TSE System is designed around evidence-based care to enhance public education and prevention, streamline 911 access, and optimize response coordination. It covers all aspects of emergency care, including pre-hospital response, transport, hospital emergency and acute care, rehabilitation, and quality improvement. The TSE program ensures a seamless transition between care levels and integrates community resources to improve patient outcomes and reduce healthcare costs.
